For the first time, the FIWARE Global Summit will take place outside Europe, landing in Rabat, Morocco, in 2025. Hosted by Rabat Smart City as part of the Smart Cities Morocco Roadshow, the event aims to accelerate digital innovation and foster resilient, smart territories across Morocco and beyond.

Backed by the University Mohammed VI Polytechnic (UM6P) and the Smart Moroccan Alliance for Resilient Territories (SMART), the summit will showcase the country’s growing leadership in smart infrastructure, advanced mobility, and data-driven governance.

This milestone event aligns with Morocco’s bold investments ahead of the 2030 FIFA World Cup, providing a timely platform for showcasing public-private collaboration, emerging technologies, and real-world smart city solutions.

FIWARE Global Summit 2025 will gather stakeholders from across sectors — including companies, investors, researchers, and government authorities — to explore new business opportunities and form strategic partnerships across all 12 Moroccan regions, Africa, and beyond.
