On Friday, 4 October, the European Big Data Value Forum 2024 witnessed an insightful  session titled “Leveraging Technologies for Data Management to Implement Data Spaces”, hosted by a consortium of leading EU projects: WATERVERSE, GREEN.DAT.AI, enRichMyData, SEDIMARK, DataBri-X, and STELAR. The session was expertly moderated by Eloisa Vargiu from Cetaqua – Water Technology Centre, bringing together a wealth of expertise in data interoperability, sovereignty, and governance.

This session provided an invaluable platform for knowledge exchange and collaboration among the participating projects, which are actively advancing data spaces within the European data ecosystem. The discussion emphasized complementary approaches and technological variations of projects responding to the 2021-Data-01-03 call, aimed at enhancing AI and data-driven operations within domain-specific data spaces.

The session shed light on cutting-edge technologies that are shaping the future of data-driven operations, offering insights that will contribute to the continued progress of initiatives like CyclopsProject, which strives to develop AI and data-driven operations tailored for specific data spaces.

The informative session was not only a showcase of innovative solutions and research but also an opportunity to strengthen collaborations and drive strategic thinking on the future of data sharing and re-use across Europe.
