The WATERVERSE project convened its 3rd Multi-Stakeholder Forum on July 15, 2024, continuing its commitment to collaborative development in the European water sector. The successful hybrid event brought together over 25 key stakeholders in Barcelona and online, including representatives from leading universities, major water utilities, and innovative technology centres.

This forum is the third in a series of strategic gatherings designed to co-create and validate the WATERVERSE framework for a unified European Water Data Space. Building on the progress of previous forums, this session focused on refining governance models, validating technical roadmaps, and ensuring the project’s solutions meet the evolving needs of end-users.

Participants engaged in high-level discussions and strategic roundtables, deliberating on the critical next steps for achieving data interoperability and fostering a robust, data-driven ecosystem for water management. The diverse expertise in the room ensured a holistic dialogue, bridging the gap between research, policy, and practical implementation.

The insights and feedback gathered will be instrumental in guiding the next phase of the WATERVERSE project, solidifying its path toward delivering impactful digital solutions for a sustainable water future.
