We are excited to announce WATERVERSE’s participation in the European Big Data Value Forum (EBDVF) 2024, where we will co-organize the session “Leveraging Technologies for Data Management to Implement Data Spaces” on Friday, October 4 from 10:15 to 11:45. This session, part of the 2021-Data-01-03 “Technologies for Data Management” call, will explore cutting-edge approaches to data interoperability, sovereignty, and value creation for the development of domain-specific data spaces.
WATERVERSE partners will join forces with fellow projects SEDIMARK, EnRichMyData, GREEN.DAT.AI, DataBri-X, and STELAR to showcase innovative solutions that address data management challenges across various sectors, including water, energy, mobility, and agri-food.
From our team: Gerasimos Antzoulatos (CERTH), Roberto Di Bernardo (Engineering) and Eloisa Vargiu (CETAQUA) will present insights on enhancing the quality of metadata in the Water Data Management Ecosystem, driving towards a more efficient and sustainable future.
The session will feature presentations and discussions on key topics such as data interoperability, data sovereignty and trust, and data value creation. Participants will explore how to ensure seamless data exchange between systems while maintaining secure and trustworthy environments. The session will also highlight data governance strategies to manage and control data assets across various sectors, including water, energy, and agrifood. Through these discussions, this occasion aims to uncover domain-specific data space building blocks and enhance the usability of data management technologies.
