On June 17-19, 2025, the WATERVERSE consortium gathered in Helsinki for the Plenary Meeting, marking the beginning of the project’s final and most critical phase. Hosted by partner Keypro, the event brought together all project members to consolidate developments, review key outcomes, and strategise the long-term impact of the project’s innovative water management tools.
With just three months remaining, the meeting was instrumental in aligning all partners on the final steps needed to deliver high-impact, exploitable results. The agenda was structured to maximise collaboration and ensure a strong finish for the EU-funded initiative.

Progress and Finalization: The first day was dedicated to comprehensive updates from all Work Packages. Partners showcased key technological developments and outlined the concrete steps required to finalize their contributions before the project’s conclusion.

Pilot Case Insights: The second day centered on a deep dive into the Finnish pilot case, analyzing its key outcomes and learnings. This session provided a practical demonstration of the WATERVERSE tools in a real-world context, generating valuable feedback for final adjustments.

Strategy for Long-Term Impact: The final day focused on the crucial topic of exploitation of project results. Partners collaborated on strategies to ensure the tools and solutions developed by WATERVERSE are market-ready and sustainable beyond the project’s lifetime. This included preparation for the upcoming final review meeting.
This meeting was a testament to the collaborative spirit and hard work that has defined WATERVERSE from the start. Seeing the progress across all partners and solidifying our strategy for these final months has energized the entire team. We are on track to deliver robust, exploitable tools that will create a lasting legacy in the water sector.
